Facial aesthetics

Cosmetics date from thousands of years ago and were used by ancient civilisations. Wanting to look better and more beautiful is a part of human evolution. Almost everyone has tried some sort of cosmetic treatment to make themselves look better; from as little as brushing the hair to the use of daily-applied make up. As humans have advanced so cosmetic treatment options have also advanced to provide more ways of cosmetic measures.

Our aim is to create a natural looking beauty, which in most cases is restoring what you already had before.

Do you ever feel younger than you are? Why not also look like you feel?

What are Dermal Filler Treatments?
Dermal fillers can help to restore the skin’s lost volume temporarily.  Filler materials are mostly made of Hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. In some cases other filler materials may be preferred. Filler materials restore volume loss in the skin and result in rejuvenation of the skin.

What are Botulinum Toxin Treatments?
These use a chemical derived from the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. When injected into muscles they have a localised effect. They block transmission between the nerve endings and muscle fibres around the injection site which causes a temporary weakness of the nearby muscle.

What are Derma-Roller treatments?
Derma-Roller is a technique of skin treatment that has been around for many years. A number of conditions such as wrinkles, scarring and ageing can be treated with this technique. Treatment works by restoring the volume of elastin and collagen under the skin.

Can I go back to work after the treatment?
With the majority of treatments all you will have is a mild redness of the skin that should disappear within one or two days. With Dermal Filler treatments you may experience some mild swelling and bruising, and you may decide not to go back to work the same day.

Are the treatments painful?
Most patients will experience a slight discomfort during injections. The clinician can give you a better indication of any rest time needed after your consultation appointment.

How many treatments will I need?
Most treatments involve one consultation and one treatment session. However, some treatments may need more than one session.
